Buckle height adjustment: When adjusting the buckle height, it should be positioned on the lower abdomen of the child when fastened. As your child grows, this will need to be adjusted accordingly.
The buckle’s depth position can be adjusted by un-threading and rethreading the buckle’s anchor strap through the various available slots. The slot closest to the baby is the low birthweight slot(1) and should only be used if your baby has been classified as such, the middle slot (2) is the newborn position and the slot furthest from the baby (3) is for larger infants who require additional crotch space.
The height of the buckle can be altered between long and short settings. Maximum buckle height is achieved just by threading the buckle’s anchor through any depth slot. To shorten the buckle’s length, re-thread the buckle’s anchor back through depth slot 1 or 2 after threading through the preferred
depth slot.
